Amazon Associates Program
Spec Atlas is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
When you click a product link on Spec Atlas and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Using our links does not add a fee to your order.
How This Affects Our Reviews
It doesn't — or more precisely, we've designed our process so that it can't. Here's why:
- ✓
We compare two products on every page
We earn a commission on either product a reader buys. We have no financial incentive to favor one over the other — both links pay the same rate.
- ✓
Spec table winners are determined by the data
The "✓" marker in our spec tables reflects which product has the better number on that metric. We don't adjust the table based on product positioning, brand, or commission rate.
- ✓
We publish caveats for both products
Every comparison includes at least one honest weakness for each product. We flag known issues (ozone concerns, no auto mode, higher upkeep) regardless of which product those negatives apply to.
- ✓
We don't accept sponsored placements
Brands cannot pay to be featured, rated higher, or have weaknesses omitted. Our comparison pages are not advertisements.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the FTC's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, Spec Atlas discloses its affiliate relationships clearly on every page that contains affiliate links. The footer of each page and the product CTA cards both contain disclosure language.
This disclosure page exists to give a complete explanation of our affiliate relationships and editorial standards in one place.
